We got up this morning to head to the activities building for donuts for breakfast. The left picture below is the Activity Center–on the right is the rock formation that we see each time we head to town. The locals call this “Grayback”.
Robin signed us up for a tour of Sedona at 9:30 this morning. A gentleman comes in to pick up this tour….there are 8 of us (plus our guide)…and we are in a most comfy AIR CONDITIONED van. He takes us all over Sedona. Our first stop was the Church of the Holy Cross. This place is so beautiful. From here he points out all the named rocks/mountains you can see.
We go to the airport mesa and see a breathtaking view of Sedona. I bet this is another 500 picture day!
After a presentation at the Wyndham offices, we head to lunch at a place our tour guide recommended. Senor Bob’s. Again, another good burger place!
Tim gets his car washed and we have lost the dirt and bugs from 10 states I think he said! A trip to the grocery store and we are home for the day….and it’s only 4:00!!!
I believe we are here 4 or 5 full days. Can’t wait to explore the different places we have heard about today!
